U3A Hawkesbury provides mature age people with a variety of learning programs and activities. There is no distinction between those who teach and those who learn, one class member may be a tutor or convenor of another class. No qualifications are needed and there are no exams or assessments, which makes for a friendly and welcoming organisation.
HISTORY
U3A Hawkesbury was established in 1994 with five classes. Today we have 55 classes on offer for 300 plus members. We work on a yearly program and members are accepted at any time during the year.
COURSES
Courses vary according to the demand of the members and are held in the daytime. A new class may start when a willing member has knowledge to share.
